Our Fishing Lakes

All of our three fishing lakes have been specially constructed to provide you with the best fishing experience possible. Fully stocked with carp and tench, all three lakes are spacious and surrounded by beautiful forest. Despite being only a short distance from the A30, you'll find the lakes to be quiet and peaceful, allowing you to really relax and enjoy.

The lakes are kept exclusively for the use of guests, and tickets for both days and weeks can be bought in advance. Each lake is suitable for all levels of fishermen and women, and there's also a hut at the end of Ham lake called "Fisherman's Rest", the perfect spot for partners who prefer to watch, or if the weather is a little inclement.

Three Lakes

Spring Lake is our oldest lake, and is fed by a natural spring. Originally excavated to supply water for washing out the milking parlour, it has since been enlarged and stocked with carp and tench for you to enjoy.

Next came Ham Lake, which is also our largest. Guests can easily access the lake by car, and close proximity parking is available. There's no need to carry your heavy fishing gear far! The lake is stocked with carp and tench of varying sizes, and there are also casting platforms.

Situated between the two is Woodscombe.  It has great access and parking, whilst casting is aided by an island connected by a bridge. This means that the whole lake is able to be fished. A popular spot with ducks, this lake is also stocked carp and tench.
