Staying at Wolf Valley

Wolf Valley Site is as it suggests, in the beautiful wooded valley of the River Wolf, close to the Devon/Cornwall boarder.  Our visitors often remark on how peaceful and serene this site is, just a couple of minutes off the A30 which will take you to Exeter in thirty minutes and past Truro and well into West Cornwall in under an hour.  Your caravan will be on one of the five level pitches – each on hard standings with electric hook ups.  The onsite lodge which includes toilet block and tourist information, making sure you are well versed in what’s on locally.

Due to the COVID-19 restrictions, the toilet on site may not be in use and visitors advised to use their own facilities. We ask that you social distance on site and use the hand sanitizer provided, around communal areas. All payments to be made online before date of arrival.

Onsite fishing lakes

Lovely walks meander around the lakes close by interspersed with picnic tables and benches. Between Woodscombe and Ham Lakes is the first of the shelters called the “The Old Boat House” where you can have a picnic or just enjoy watching the wildlife. At the far end of the site and Ham Lakes is another shelter called “Fisherman’s Rest” from this vantage point moor hens, ducks and kingfishers are commonly seen.  No ground sheets to be used in the awnings.  Caravans are welcome to arrive any time after 12 noon and depart by 11am.
