Wolf Valley enjoys summer weekend

Well what a weekend for weather that was! The sun was shining from pretty much dawn to dusk in the Wolf Valley with some of the hottest temperatures this year! With a few showers about this Monday morning we hope the sun is seen much more over the coming months!

In this post we’ve included some photos taken from within one mile of the CL Site.  The site has plenty of scenic walks itself but these photos will remind you just how picturesque and beautiful the Wolf Valley is, whilst also being just one minute from the main route into and out of Cornwall!

Wildlife on show for fully booked bank holiday weekend

We enjoyed yet another great bank holiday weekend at the Wolf Valley.

We were again fully booked and for those that didn’t manage to get to this part of the world over the weekend or are looking to book at the moment here are a few photos to give you a little update on the progress of the resident goslings who’ve made our lakes their home for the foreseeable future.

We hope to see you at our CL site soon and if booking please do make sure you check our availability calendars across the site to avoid disappointment!

Many thanks

Some great Easter weather!

Good morning, it’s still slightly overcast here today but we were full all bank holiday weekend.  Those staying got some great weather on Friday and Saturday and even a few sharp downpours on the Sunday weren’t enough to dampen spirits on site!

We took a few more photos to show you how the site is looking.

If you’re still looking for a break away this week we’ve still got the perfect pitch ready for you!

Open again for 2014 and it’s sunny!

We’re delighted to say that we’re now open for the 2014 season and even happier to say that we have so far been bathed in Easter sunshine.

We’ve included a few photos taken with my phone from around the site, which is already the happy home to our first visitors of the year.

You’ll see that we’ve put a photo of the Canadian Geese who are joining us again this year. They’re currently nesting on site as are some more local ducks!

We’ll be charting their progress, along with all of the other wildlife in the Wolf Valley throughout the summer months so please do check back regularly to see how they are doing!

The site saw many budding fishermen last year and our lakes are all in tip top condition this year; stocked with carp and tench throughout, they’ll give you some challenging and enjoyable fishing throughout your stay.

If you are looking to stay with us then we’re keeping our site availability calendars throughout the site as up to date as possible, but do please book as early as possible to avoid disappointment; we’re already full for some weeks and nearly full for others!

We look forward to welcoming you to the Wolf Valley very soon!

Our CL Site is now closed for winter

After a long and busy summer, which finally included a large amount of fantastic weather, our CL Site is now closed until 15 April 2014.  To give you a little bit of a flavour of what the winter months are like in the Wolf Valley we’ve included an image above taken on 8 December 2011.
